Master in Barch Honours Architecture

At Sheffield Hallam University, tuition fees are 18,000 GBP per year.

Stepping into the BArch (Honours) Architecture programme, you are immediately immersed in a culture of environmental stewardship and creative experimentation. This course prioritizes applied learning, moving beyond traditional theory to tackle the real-world climate emergency through cutting-edge design. Whether you are exploring sustainable domestic architecture in the Environmental Architecture Design Project 2 or engaging with diverse communities in collaborative studio briefs, the curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice.

A Studio-Led Approach to Global Challenges

The programme operates out of state-of-the-art design studios where you will hone your skills in model-making, CAD, and Building Information Modelling (BIM). The curriculum is uniquely structured to foster collaborative, cross-disciplinary work, often partnering with external clients on live projects that address social justice and the UN Sustainability Goals. You will explore architecture not just as a static art, but as a dynamic response to place, people, and the environment. With accreditation from both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), the course ensures that every design choice you make is grounded in professional standards while pushing the boundaries of contemporary innovation.
