Students who are compassionate, collaborative, and driven to empower others will find a home in this practice-focused programme. You will explore how to help individuals navigate the challenges of illness, disability, and ageing, enabling them to regain independence in the everyday activities that give life meaning. Whether it is rehabilitation in a hospital setting, supporting mental health in the community, or working within schools and prisons, you will develop the versatility needed to excel across diverse healthcare environments.

Practice-Led Learning

The curriculum is designed for those who learn by doing, blending theoretical study with hands-on clinical experience. You will train in InterCity Place, a bespoke facility featuring realistic clinical simulations and a dedicated community home suite—complete with assistive technology—to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world. By studying alongside other health professionals, you will build the communication and leadership skills essential for modern, person-centred practice.
