Bachelor in Computer Engineering

Tuition fees are 7,100 EUR per year.

Computer Engineering combines principles from computer science and electrical engineering to design and build computing hardware and software systems. Students typically study programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, and networks, along with mathematics and physics courses that underpin the engineering curriculum. Laboratory work is usually a significant component, giving students hands-on experience building circuits, writing software, and working with embedded systems. As the program progresses, students often take electives in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or robotics, depending on their interests. Graduates typically pursue careers as software developers, hardware engineers, systems analysts, or network engineers, and the degree also provides a foundation for graduate study in computer science or engineering. This bachelor's program is offered at Cyprus International University in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus, taught in English over 4 years. Studying in an English-medium engineering program gives students access to technical literature, documentation, and international collaboration in the language most widely used across the global technology industry. The curriculum generally builds from mathematics, physics, and introductory programming in the early years toward more specialized engineering coursework and project-based work later in the program. Students are typically expected to complete design or capstone projects that draw together skills from across the curriculum, preparing them to enter the workforce or continue into postgraduate engineering studies.
