This master's programme in Electronics, with a specialization in Advanced Informatics and Control, is offered by Wrocław University of Science and Technology in Wrocław, Poland, taught in English over 3 semesters, at a yearly tuition of EUR 4000. It is built around multidisciplinary knowledge and both theoretical and practical skills spanning computer science, information technology, systems, and control engineering. Across the three semesters, a Research Skills and Methodologies course involves students in research both individually and as part of a team, and more than 50% of the overall programme is delivered through active forms of teaching such as classes, laboratory training, and assigned projects. Students have the option of spending part of their studies at WUST and part of their studies in the United Kingdom, and it is possible to earn two MSc diplomas, one from WUST and one from a partner university abroad, by completing 90 ECTS credits and preparing final projects at both institutions. The first semester covers Research Skills and Methodologies, Discrete Mathematics, Signal, Systems and Control, IT Applications in Business and Commerce, Information Systems Modeling, Computer Project Management, Social Communications, English at B2 level or above, or Polish language, and Physics. The second semester continues with Research Skills and Methodologies, Optimization Methods, Secure Systems and Networks, Methods of Computational Intelligence and Decision Making, Modelling and Optimization of Computer Networks, and elective coursework. Graduates of this specialization are prepared for careers spanning control engineering, systems design, and applied informatics, often within international teams.
