Dentistry (cipher 6В10115, educational-program group ВМ087) is a 6-year, 360-credit programme at NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University" preparing dentists for clinical practice. The programme combines general education, basic and specialised disciplines, with training ending in a final certification: writing and defending a master's thesis plus a comprehensive exam.

Simulation-based training begins in the university's Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies; from the third year, students move into clinical training at the university's own dental clinic under faculty supervision. Graduates receive the qualification "doctor" and a Master of Medicine degree, per Kazakhstan's Continuous Integrated Medical Education (CIME) structure.

Graduates may work as dentists in public and private healthcare organisations and obtain the right to private practice under Kazakhstan's regulatory framework.

Karaganda State Medical University, established in 1950 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, is a well-regarded institution for medical and health sciences education in Central Asia. With approximately 8,373 students, the university offers comprehensive medical training rooted in clinical practice and community health. Programs combine foundational biomedical sciences with extensive clinical rotations at affiliated hospitals, preparing graduates for licensure and practice in a variety of healthcare settings.

The university attracts both domestic and international students by providing structured clinical exposure, modern laboratories, and supervised patient care experience. English-language tracks and language support services are often available for overseas learners, and the campus fosters an environment where rotational placements and interdisciplinary collaboration are central to training. Student services include academic advising, practical skill workshops, and assistance with licensing exam preparation.

Life in Karaganda offers a balance between urban amenities and a manageable cost of living, which can be appealing for students focusing on intensive clinical study. Prospective applicants should verify degree recognition requirements in their home countries and prepare relevant documentation for clinical placements. Graduates commonly enter clinical practice, public health roles, or continue specialist training. For students aiming to build a strong clinical foundation within a supportive, practice-oriented program in Kazakhstan, Karaganda State Medical University provides established pathways and hands-on learning.
