Graduates from this programme step into vital roles within the NHS, private healthcare providers, and the Armed Forces, with opportunities extending into forensic, veterinary, and industrial radiography. This degree is designed for those who thrive in high-tech environments and are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

As the first accelerated degree of its kind in the UK, this two-year programme is engineered to fast-track your entry into the workforce. You will gain hands-on expertise by working with cutting-edge imaging technology, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radioactive tracer scans. The curriculum balances rigorous scientific theory with extensive clinical placements, ensuring you are fully prepared to join the multidisciplinary healthcare team upon graduation.

Accelerated Professional Training

By condensing the programme into two years through a three-trimester model, students develop the resilience and technical proficiency required to manage complex medical imaging scenarios. You will learn to produce and process images of internal structures—ranging from bones to blood vessels—and provide real-time guidance during life-saving surgical interventions. Upon successful completion, you are eligible to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
