Diploma in Information Technology

The Diploma in Information Technology (N54) is one of NP's longest-established computing diplomas, covering programming, networking, databases and operating systems as a foundation for careers in software engineering, AI and product management. Students complete hands-on projects and internships throughout the course. Core modules in Year 1 cover programming, networking, databases and operating systems, with Year 2 specialisations such as AI Solutioning or Software Engineering and Year 3 options for internships, university pathways or advanced specialisations. Graduates enter technical industry roles or progress to computing degrees at recognised universities.
