The tuition fee is 3,350 GBP per year.

Harnessing the expertise of the Carnegie School of Education, this distance learning programme is crafted for educators who are keen to sharpen their practice while balancing professional commitments. It is particularly well-suited for practising teachers—including those in early years, primary, secondary, and further education—as well as those currently pursuing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working in international schools following an English curriculum.

A career-focused pedagogical approach

Rather than a theoretical exercise, this course is designed to be deeply integrated into your current working environment. Assignments are tailored to align with your school's priorities, regional policy agendas, and your specific subject expertise, ensuring that your academic study directly informs your daily teaching. By engaging with a global community of peers, you will:

• Critically analyse pedagogical discourse and sector-wide policy.
• Reflect on best practices and share insights with an international cohort of educators.
• Benefit from a supportive, research-informed framework that champions creative and responsive teaching strategies.

Please note that this PGCE does not provide Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) upon completion.
