Master in Education Practice

Tuition comes to 17,300 GBP per year.

Effective pedagogy and educational leadership require a constant dialogue between abstract theory and the messy, complex realities of the classroom. This programme is designed for educators who are not content with merely observing these changes, but wish to actively manage them within their own institutions. Whether you are working in early years, secondary schooling, further education, or higher education, the course provides a rigorous framework to critique contemporary policy, integrate emerging technologies, and refine your leadership skills.

What sets this degree apart is its intense focus on your immediate professional context. You are expected to be an active practitioner throughout your studies, ensuring that every theoretical insight gained during evening sessions is immediately stress-tested in your own workplace. This is a programme for the reflective practitioner—someone who sees their own school or college as a laboratory for innovation and is committed to bridging the gap between national policy and local student outcomes.
