About the Program

The MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is a full-time, 3-semester programme with intakes in both the winter and summer semester. Students choose one of three major fields: Automation Engineering, Communication Engineering, or Embedded Systems Engineering. The first two semesters focus on technical courses combining lectures, exercises, and practical laboratory work, with required modules varying by chosen major. A broad range of elective modules in systems engineering, media technology, and management allows further technical specialisation. The third semester is a research semester dedicated to the Master's thesis. Group work in courses and projects is a core feature of the programme. Graduates are prepared for careers in research, development, and management in fields where software-intensive systems are central, including the automobile industry, aerospace, medical engineering, and media technology. The programme is offered at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen/Anhalt, Germany.
