Overview

Bath College offers Higher National Certificate in General, Mechanical and Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses. These part-time two-year courses are delivered over one day per week for 36 weeks making it suitable for those employed in industry who are permitted day release for study. The Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a course for those seeking a formal qualification which provides a mix of mechanical and electrical units to satisfy todays industrial requirements.

You will be taught via a mixture of lectures, laboratory workshops and directed independent study tasks. Work and progress is assessed by a range of methods, which may include assignments, projects, case studies and practical exercises. Employers may also be involved with project work and other assessments to help ensure that course content is up to date and relevant.
