Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği

Electrical and Electronics Engineering covers the design, analysis, and application of systems that generate, transmit, and use electrical energy and signals. Typical coursework includes circuit analysis, electromagnetics, electronics, control systems, signal processing, and power systems, supported by mathematics and physics foundations and extensive laboratory work. Students also study digital systems, microprocessors, and communication systems, gaining practical experience through lab exercises and design projects that involve building and testing circuits. The program develops skills in analyzing electrical systems, designing electronic devices, and working with both analog and digital technologies. Graduates find roles as electrical engineers, electronics designers, power systems engineers, and telecommunications engineers, working in energy companies, manufacturing, telecommunications, and technology firms. The program is taught in English over 4 years at Istanbul Arel University in İstanbul, Turkey, offering an academic setting where technical coursework is delivered in an international language. İstanbul's industrial and technology sectors provide students with exposure to companies working across energy, electronics, and communications. Over the four years, students generally progress from foundational mathematics and circuit theory toward specialized courses in power systems, control, and electronic design.
