Electrical and Electronics Engineering studies the design, analysis, and application of systems that generate, transmit, and use electrical energy and electronic signals. Coursework typically covers circuit theory, electronics, signal processing, control systems, power systems, telecommunications, and digital systems design, supported by mathematics and physics foundations. Students work in laboratories to build and test circuits, program microcontrollers, and analyze electrical systems, developing both theoretical understanding and hands-on technical skills. Capstone projects often involve designing a device or system that solves a practical engineering problem, such as a control circuit or a communication system prototype. Graduates pursue careers as electrical engineers, electronics engineers, power systems engineers, telecommunications engineers, and control systems engineers across energy, manufacturing, and technology industries. Many go on to graduate study in engineering. This 4-year bachelor program is taught in English at Istanbul Bilgi University, located in Istanbul, Turkey.
