Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği

Electrical and Electronics Engineering covers the design, analysis, and application of systems that generate, transmit, and use electrical energy and signals. Students typically study circuit theory, electromagnetics, electronics, digital systems, control systems, signal processing, and power systems, alongside foundational mathematics and physics courses. Laboratory work involves building and testing circuits, working with electronic components, and using simulation software to model electrical systems, giving students practical experience alongside theoretical study. The curriculum spans both power-focused topics such as electrical grids and machines and electronics-focused topics such as microelectronics and communication systems. Graduates pursue careers as electrical engineers, electronics design engineers, power systems engineers, telecommunications engineers, and control systems engineers, working in energy companies, electronics manufacturing, telecommunications firms, and industrial automation. This bachelor's degree runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Okan University in İstanbul, Turkey, preparing graduates for the wide range of industries that depend on electrical and electronic systems.
