Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği

Electrical and Electronics Engineering covers the study and design of systems that generate, transmit, and use electrical energy and signals, spanning circuit theory, electronics, control systems, power systems, and signal processing. Students build a foundation in mathematics and physics before progressing to coursework on digital and analog circuit design, microprocessors, and communication systems, supported by laboratory work that applies theory to practical circuits and devices. The program develops problem-solving and design skills relevant to a wide range of technical applications. Graduates pursue careers in electronics design, telecommunications, power systems, automation, and further graduate study in electrical engineering. The program is offered in English at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, over a duration of 4 years.
