Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği

This program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is offered at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in Muğla, Turkey, and is taught in English over 4 years. The discipline covers the design and analysis of electrical systems and electronic devices, spanning power generation and distribution, circuit design, control systems, and telecommunications. Typical coursework includes circuit analysis, electromagnetics, digital and analog electronics, control systems, signal processing, and power systems, supported by mathematics and physics foundations. Laboratory work is a consistent feature, giving students practice building and testing circuits, programming microcontrollers, and analyzing system performance under different conditions. Students also study the fundamentals of communication systems and renewable energy technologies, reflecting the breadth of applications within the field, from consumer electronics to large-scale power infrastructure. Graduates typically work as electrical engineers, electronics design engineers, or systems engineers in industries such as energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, and automation. Some pursue further specialization in areas such as renewable energy systems or embedded systems through graduate study, while others move into technical project management. As a state university on Turkey's Aegean coast, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University delivers this program in English, supporting an internationally oriented technical education. Over the four-year duration, the curriculum builds from foundational circuit theory and mathematics toward specialized design coursework in power, electronics, or control systems.
