Bachelor in Electronics and telecommunications

Poznan University of Technology offers a bachelor's program in Electronics and Telecommunications, taught in English in Poznań, Poland, over seven semesters, roughly three and a half years of study. Graduates gain knowledge across electronics, telecommunication systems, communication and computer networks, mobile communications, and multimedia. Students learn to program in C, C++, C#, and Matlab to solve communication and electronic tasks, and become familiar with optoelectronic circuits and systems, television, antennas, and microwaves. They also develop the ability to configure computer and wireless networks effectively. During their studies, students work with computer networks and internet technologies, radio and mobile communications, communication systems, multimedia, and consumer electronics. Graduates are prepared to work in industry and services tied to modern electronics, communications, and informatics. The bachelor's studies conclude with a diploma thesis on a chosen topic within electronics and telecommunications, and graduates are directly prepared to continue into master's studies in the same field. Because of the university's participation in the EU Erasmus+ Exchange Programme, the strongest students have the option to spend a semester abroad at partner universities in countries such as Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey, where they can build language skills, professional competence, and experience of study and daily life in another country. Electronics and telecommunications as a field sits at the center of how information moves between devices and networks, from mobile communication standards to broadcast and internet infrastructure. A seven-semester bachelor's program of this kind gives students a broad technical grounding before they specialize further, whether in industry roles or continued academic study.
