Master in Electronics

Lodz University of Technology offers a master's program in Electronics, with an English-taught track available in Łódź, Poland, over two years, with annual tuition of 10,800 PLN. The Applied Electronics program aims to give students an advanced understanding of electronics, telecommunications, and ICT, with attention to current developments and trends in these fields. The core curriculum is designed so that students acquire knowledge and skills that can be applied directly to engineering roles common in today's job market, as well as to research and development work. A version of the program taught in Polish is delivered entirely at Lodz University of Technology, with the curriculum emphasizing analysis and design of analogue and digital electronic systems, microprocessor technology including software, optoelectronics, and the implementation of modern telecommunications and ICT networks; this track concludes with a magister inżynier degree in Electronics and Telecommunications. The English-taught version of the Applied Electronics specialization is delivered jointly by Lodz University of Technology and the University of Naples Federico II, with two groups of students moving between the two institutions. Students following this track begin their studies in the first semester in Łódź, with the second and third semesters shared between the two universities, one taking place in Łódź and the other in Naples, and the final diploma semester spent in Naples. Electronics as a field covers the design, analysis, and application of circuits and systems that process electrical signals, underpinning technologies from telecommunications networks to consumer devices. Graduates of programs in this area typically move into engineering roles in electronics manufacturing, telecommunications, or further research and development work.
