Enerji Sistemleri Mühendisliği

The tuition fee is 9,000 USD per year.

Energy Systems Engineering addresses the generation, conversion, distribution, and efficient use of energy, drawing on principles from mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering to work with both conventional and renewable energy sources. Coursework generally spans thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, power systems, renewable energy technologies, energy economics, and energy policy, along with laboratory and design work that applies these principles to practical energy systems. The discipline leads to careers in power generation and utilities, renewable energy development, energy consulting, and industrial energy management, as well as further graduate study in energy or environmental engineering. This 4-year bachelor's program at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, is delivered in English. Studying energy systems engineering in Istanbul places students in a large city with significant energy demand and infrastructure, providing a practical backdrop for coursework on power generation and distribution. Across the 4 years of the program, students build from foundational mathematics and physical science courses toward specialized study of energy conversion, systems analysis, and renewable technologies, typically supported by applied and project-based coursework. Prospective students are choosing an English-taught engineering degree at a private Turkish university, combining technical training in an increasingly relevant field with the resources and scale of a major metropolitan setting.
