At Leeds Beckett University, tuition fees are 16,840 GBP per year.

By leveraging a three-month license to the Flex Sim package, students on this top-up programme move beyond theoretical engineering to master the discreet event simulation and 3D modelling techniques that define modern industrial efficiency. This one-year BEng (Hons) acts as a bridge for those who have already completed an HND or Foundation degree, transforming technical proficiency into the broader strategic vision required for management roles.

Bridging Technical Expertise and Strategic Leadership

The curriculum is designed for those who want to understand the 'bigger picture' of business. You will not only refine your technical skills in areas like automation and electronic control but also ground them in the financial realities of project management, including cost control and accounting. The programme is distinctly industry-focused, offering:

• Direct engagement with advanced manufacturing workflows through site visits to major partners like Jaguar and Nestlé.
• A core focus on sustainable engineering, low-carbon design, and international supply chain management.
• Access to on-site rapid prototyping facilities and guest lectures from expert consultants who bring the latest workplace challenges directly into the classroom.

This is an ideal pathway for students seeking to blend creative technical problem-solving with the organisational planning necessary to lead in a global engineering environment.
