Master in Englisch + Kunst (master)

Graduates from this programme go on to teach at Realschule in Bavaria, either combining English and Art at a professional level, or moving to other sectors such as education management, educational publishing, or further academic study.

The English + Kunst programme at the University of Bamberg is a seven-semester Master's, with students completing their first state exams, a 24-month teaching placement, and then their second state exams in the 2nd year of this placement. Both English and Art are given equal emphasis, following the LPO I structure of Bavaria.

The programme includes a partnership with the University of Cambridge, which allows students to apply for a year abroad at Cambridge. Students also have the opportunity to work as research assistants at the faculty, and there is an option for Erasmus exchange experience, as well as a range of internships and practices.
