The tuition fee is 9,000 USD per year.

English Language Teaching prepares students to teach English as a foreign language by combining advanced English proficiency with formal training in language pedagogy. Typical coursework includes linguistics, second language acquisition theory, teaching methodology, materials and curriculum development, and language assessment, along with educational psychology and classroom management to prepare students for real teaching environments. Practical components such as microteaching exercises and supervised teaching practice in schools give students direct experience planning lessons, delivering instruction, and evaluating learner progress across different age groups and proficiency levels. The program is designed to develop both the language competence and the professional teaching skills required to run an effective language classroom. Graduates typically go on to teach English in primary and secondary schools, language institutes, and university preparatory programs, with the underlying combination of language and pedagogical training also supporting careers in curriculum development, educational publishing, and language program management. This bachelor's program is delivered in English over 4 years at Boğaziçi University in İstanbul, Turkey. Full English-medium instruction throughout the degree ensures graduates reach the level of fluency and accuracy expected of professional language teachers, while modeling the kind of immersive instruction they will use in their own future classrooms. Boğaziçi University is one of Turkey's leading public universities, and its İstanbul-based education faculty provides a strong academic setting for this program. Over the four years, coursework typically moves from foundational language and linguistics study toward specialized teaching methodology and supervised classroom practice, preparing graduates to enter the profession as qualified English teachers.
