The educational objectives of the 1st-cycle academic programme are, first, to give students basic engineering knowledge in Environmental Engineering needed to design, implement, and maintain devices, systems, and technologies for water intake and distribution, sewage and sediment neutralization and treatment, and waste treatment, as well as for preventing environmental degradation and designing and installing plumbing and sewage systems, water supply and sewage networks, and HVAC systems; and second, to give students the skills to identify and resolve basic environmental problems they will encounter in professional practice. Kielce is a city in south-central Poland, and this English-taught programme gives international students a technical, licence-track route into environmental engineering careers spanning design, construction, and regulatory compliance.
