    About Master in Environmental management

At University of Warsaw, the tuition fee is 4,500 EUR per year.

The Interfaculty Master's Degree Programme in Environmental Management at the University of Warsaw is a joint initiative of three faculties, Biology, Chemistry and Management, taught in English over two years with yearly tuition of 4,500 EUR. The programme takes an interdisciplinary approach, focusing on the sustainable exploitation and protection of the natural environment. Students gather complex theoretical and practical knowledge covering the legal, organizational and social dimensions of environmental protection. They study the biological basis of environmental management and protection, as well as the problems associated with increasing levels of xenobiotics in the environment. The curriculum also introduces the newest analytical technologies and approaches to soil, water and air improvement and remediation, together with the financial and economic measures used in environmental management, so that graduates are prepared to plan protective activities from both a scientific and an administrative standpoint. Combining three faculties gives the programme a distinctive breadth: students engage with biology and chemistry as scientific foundations for environmental analysis, while the management component develops skills in organizing and financing environmental projects. This mix positions graduates for careers spanning environmental consultancy, corporate sustainability roles, public administration, NGOs, and research institutions working on environmental policy and remediation. The University of Warsaw is Poland's largest and one of its most established universities, and the Environmental Management programme draws on the research strength of its Biology and Chemistry faculties alongside the applied focus of the Faculty of Management.
