Bachelor in Fahrzeugtechnik Beng

Graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering in Fahrzeugtechnik programme go on to develop new technologies for vehicles at automakers and suppliers. The 7-semester programme is taught in German and covers automotive technology, electrical engineering and computer science, and mechanical engineering. Students work on projects, simulations, and experiments, and some participate in the international 'Formula Student' competition with the Saar Racing Team. More than 3,500 students are enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering.

The curriculum includes the htw saar Faculty of Engineering, the Saar Racing Team, and the international 'Formula Student' competition. Modules include Applied Measurement Technology, Vehicle Bodies, Lightweight Construction, Construction and Manufacturing Technology, Engineering and Technical Mathematics, and electives in areas such as Brake and Engine Technology, Electromobility, Battery Technology, and Truck Technology. English seminars start in the third semester and include a project and presentation in the English language.
