Forklift Safety

The UCOL Forklift Safety course is designed for secondary school learners who want to gain essential skills for a career in the road transport, distribution, or warehousing industries. This three-day program runs from 9 am to 3 pm and provides both theoretical and practical training in forklift operation. It is ideal for students who are eager to explore career options while still in school.

During the course, students will learn to operate a powered industrial lift truck and meet the Worksafe forklift operator safety requirements. The program comprises 7 credits and focuses on practical skills that are directly applicable in the workplace. This hands-on experience prepares students for further studies or immediate entry into the workforce.
