Master in Französisch+Geographie

The deadline to apply for the Sep 2027 intake is Aug 31, 2027.

This Master's programme in French and Geography at the University of Bamberg is structured to ensure both subjects receive equal emphasis. The programme adheres to the Bavarian LPO I, avoiding a primary and secondary subject model. Students will engage in a variety of modules, including French language and literature, geography and education, and general and school pedagogy. Students will participate in the Pädagogisch-didaktische Praktikum and Schulpraktikum, as well as complete a substantial research project during their studies.

Studying in Bamberg means benefiting from a rich academic environment and the support of dedicated faculty. Prof. Hans-Ingo Radatz, for example, highlights the international focus of the Romanistik department, which is reflected in the course content and individual student support. The city's cultural heritage, including the large Botanical Garden, adds to the unique experience of studying here.
