Bachelor in General Mechanical Engineering

Graduates of the General Mechanical Engineering programme go on to work as mechanical engineers in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. Aalen University is known for its hands-on approach to learning, reflected in the programme's practical semester in the 5th semester.

Students develop essential skills through a variety of modules such as the Machine Elements, Materials Science, and Numerical Mathematics and Computer Science. Each semester introduces new challenges, from the foundational Mechanics for Engineering I in the 1st semester to the more advanced Cyberphysical Systems in the 6th semester, culminating in a final semester focused on research and a Bachelor's thesis on real-world problems.
