General Medicine in English at the University of Pecs Medical School is a six-year MD programme (12 semesters) built around three curriculum modules: foundational natural sciences and human anatomy, pathological processes and patient examination skills, and finally clinical training in hospital wards. The school emphasises early and direct contact with patients as central to sound medical education. Core subjects include anatomy, biochemistry, physiology and pathology, moving into internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, psychiatry, emergency care and further specialties, with the final year built around full clinical hospital rotations.
