Hairdressing

The Hairdressing program at Andover College is a non-degree course that teaches students the technical skills they need for a career in hairdressing. It lasts one year and is taught in English. The program's main advantages include hands-on training in fully equipped salons.

The curriculum focuses on practical experience, with students learning techniques for cutting, coloring, and styling hair. They also complete a work placement for at least two days a week, gaining experience in a real-world environment. Additionally, students attend professional hairdressing shows and receive training from industry experts.

Graduates can pursue careers as hairdressers, barbers, salon managers, or mobile hairdressers. They can work in hair salons, on cruise ships, or in other related settings, applying the skills they acquired during the course.
