Bachelor in Hebammenwissenschaft BSc Dual

Offering a dual, practice-integrated, and primary qualifying programme, the Hochschule Osnabrück has been training midwives since the 2021/2022 winter semester. This 7-semester programme combines scientific study with guided practical training, culminating in both a professional qualification as a midwife and a Bachelor of Science degree. The curriculum integrates 4,600 hours of mandatory practical training, as stipulated by the new Hebammengesetz (HebG) and Studien- und Prüfungsverordnung für Hebammen (HebStPrV), through partnerships with various practice facilities in the Osnabrück region.
