Independent Living Entry Level Full-time

Independent Living Entry Level Full-time is a non-degree program at Barnsley College. It's for students who want to learn independent living skills. The program is one year long and takes place on campus. Students learn to live independently and develop daily living skills.

The curriculum covers daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning. Students also learn to manage their time and prioritize tasks. They develop skills to live independently and make informed decisions.

After completing the program, students can work as Support Workers, Care Assistants, or Independent Living Advisors. They can find jobs in social care, healthcare, or education. Some employers may include care homes, hospitals, or community organizations.
