Bachelor in Industrial Engineering

Tuition fees are 3,700 USD per year.

Industrial Engineering is the discipline concerned with optimizing complex processes, systems, and organizations, covering how people, materials, information, and equipment work together efficiently. Coursework typically covers operations research, production planning, quality management, supply chain and logistics, ergonomics, statistics, and systems simulation, alongside general engineering and mathematics foundations. Students learn to analyze workflows, model systems mathematically, and design improvements to manufacturing and service processes. Graduates commonly work in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare systems, consulting, and technology companies, in roles such as process engineer, supply chain analyst, quality engineer, or operations manager. This bachelor's program is offered at Haliç University in İstanbul, Turkey, and is taught entirely in English over a duration of 4 years. İstanbul's diverse industrial and manufacturing base offers a relevant setting for studying production systems and logistics, both areas central to industrial engineering practice. English-medium instruction is a practical asset in this field, since operations research literature and international quality and management standards are widely published and used in English. Over the four years, the program generally builds from mathematics, statistics, and general engineering courses toward applied study of production systems, supply chain management, and process optimization.
