Bachelor in Industrial Engineering

Tuition costs 25,000 USD per year.

Industrial Engineering focuses on designing, improving, and managing complex systems involving people, materials, information, equipment, and processes. Coursework typically covers operations research, production and manufacturing systems, quality management, supply chain and logistics, statistics, and optimization methods, alongside general engineering mathematics and project management principles. Students learn to model and analyze systems for efficiency, apply statistical and optimization tools to decision-making, and design processes that improve productivity and reduce waste across manufacturing and service settings. Graduates typically pursue careers in operations management, supply chain and logistics, manufacturing, quality management, and consulting, as well as further graduate study in industrial or systems engineering. This bachelor's program at Özyeğin University in İstanbul, Turkey runs over 4 years and is taught in English, supporting engagement with international engineering and management literature. İstanbul's manufacturing and logistics sectors offer a relevant environment for students studying process and systems optimization. The program combines quantitative engineering methods with applied coursework in operations and systems management, aiming to prepare graduates for roles that improve efficiency across industries.
