Bachelor in Informatics

Tuition fees for Bachelor in Informatics are 2,700 EUR per year.

Informatics is a bachelor's program in IT in Business, taught in English at Uniwersytet WSB Merito Torun, based in Warszawa, Poland, over three and a half years, with yearly tuition of 2700 EUR. Students gain knowledge and engineering skills related to designing IT systems, business applications, and database technologies, along with e-business and the broader computerization of enterprises. Classes are taught by lecturers with years of experience in IT companies operating both locally and transnationally, and coursework includes the use of IT tools applied within real enterprises. In shaping the program's specializations, the university collaborates with business partners in the IT industry, including Atos IT Services, Nokia Corporation, Galactica, Sunrise Systems, iQor Global Services Poland, and the Project Management Institute. Students take part in work placements and study visits at some of the largest IT companies, and they can validate the skills and knowledge gained during their studies by earning international professional IT certificates. Admission follows a four-step process: applicants select their field of study, create a candidate account containing recruitment instructions, and then have seven days to attach and sign the necessary documents, all completed online without needing to visit in person. Informatics at the bachelor's level with this business focus gives students a technical grounding in systems and database design alongside direct exposure to enterprise IT practice through partner companies, preparing graduates for entry-level roles connecting software development to business operations, or for further study at the master's level.
