The Master's programme in International Relations at The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, runs for two years, taught in English, with an annual tuition fee of 8160 PLN. The programme prepares graduates to practise professions that draw on interdisciplinary and advanced knowledge in the social sciences, particularly international relations, within national governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as international bodies and both state and private enterprises. It also builds the ability to independently acquire and expand advanced knowledge in international relations, political science and public administration, including in settings with limited access to information, along with skills in organizing work, leading teams, and communicating, negotiating and justifying positions in both Polish and a foreign language. The curriculum encourages an entrepreneurial and pro-social approach to thinking and acting. As a compulsory component, students complete 240 hours of mandatory internship, starting from the first year of study. As with international relations programmes generally, coursework spans political science, law, economics and history, preparing graduates for careers in diplomacy, public administration, international organizations, and research institutions, or for continued doctoral-level study.
