You'll study Finland-Swedish and Finland-Finnish Sign Language, as well as specialized methods supporting communication for people with speech impairments. Choose from sign language interpreting, speech impairment interpreting, or communication instruction, catering to clients of all ages on day-time (Helsinki) or blended (Kuopio and Tampere) schedules.

The sign language interpreting stream focuses on Finnish Sign Language and Finnish language, and the speech impairment interpreting stream uses a range of methods such as plain language, pictures, symbols, signing, and communication apps.
