Master in Iqts Information

Tuition fees are 17,000 GBP per year; the application deadline for the Sep 2027 intake is Aug 31, 2027.

Harnessing the power of the IRIS Connect Record App, this programme integrates live online seminars with high-stakes classroom practice to bridge the gap between academic theory and the realities of modern international schooling. Designed for aspiring educators already embedded within a school environment, the course offers a pathway to achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as awarded by the Department for Education in England, while operating entirely from your international location.

This is a rigorous, practice-based master’s level qualification. Unlike purely theoretical degrees, the iQTS is fundamentally built around your daily performance in the classroom. You will navigate a four-block structure, culminating in a period where you manage 80% of a full-time teacher's workload. Success here is not just about academic assignments; it is about demonstrating competency against the iQTS Teacher’s Standards through a combination of lesson observations, mentor-led feedback, and professional dialogue.

Integrated Professional Development

The course is uniquely collaborative, requiring a formal partnership between you, your placement school, and UWE Bristol. By embedding a dedicated mentor within your school and utilizing secure digital portfolios like PebblePad, you receive continuous, evidence-based support. It is an ideal choice for those who want to earn a prestigious UK teaching qualification without leaving their current professional post, provided their school can facilitate the required 140 days of practice and ongoing video-recorded self-evaluation.
