Land Based Level 1 Full-time

The Land Based Level 1 Full-time program at Barnsley College is for students who want to work in agriculture, horticulture, or conservation. This non-degree program takes one year to complete and is taught in English.

The curriculum covers land-based subjects, helping students develop skills in plant and animal care, machinery operation, and environmental conservation. Students will also gain practical experience in farming, gardening, or conservation settings.

Graduates can pursue careers as Farm Workers, Gardening Assistants, Conservation Workers, Park Rangers, or Greenkeepers, working in farms, gardens, parks, or wildlife reserves.
