Licence Controller Qualification

Tuition comes to 610 USD per year.

The Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) is essential for anyone working in licensed premises. This one-day course equips students with a solid understanding of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the responsibilities of a Duty Manager. It is ideal for individuals who are proactive and looking to enhance their career in the hospitality sector.

During the course, students will learn about the legal requirements surrounding alcohol sales and the importance of host responsibility. The curriculum includes practical knowledge that prepares students for real-world scenarios they will face in licensed environments. After completing the course, students will receive a formal LCQ certificate, which is a prerequisite for applying for a Manager's Certificate.

Graduates of the LCQ can pursue various roles in the hospitality industry, such as Duty Manager, Bar Manager, or Venue Manager. Employers in this field include bars, restaurants, and event venues. The skills gained from this qualification are transferable, allowing graduates to adapt to various positions within the hospitality and food service sectors.
