Bachelor in Licence - Histoire

The Licence - Histoire (History) at Avignon Université in Avignon, France, is a three-year bachelor program that trains students in the methods, questions, and debates of historical inquiry across periods from antiquity to the present day. History degrees develop rigorous reading and critical analysis of primary sources—documents, archives, images, material culture—alongside engagement with secondary historiographical literature and the debates that animate each historical period.
