Bachelor in Licence - Histoire

Tuition costs 178 EUR per year.

The Licence Histoire at the Université de Corte is a three-year bachelor's degree providing comprehensive training in historical inquiry, from ancient civilisations to the present day. Students learn to work with primary and secondary sources, develop critical thinking and analytical writing skills, and engage with major debates in historiography. Study areas typically span political, social, economic, and cultural history, with perspectives ranging from regional to global scales. The programme is delivered in French at the Université de Corte in Corte, Corsica, France, starting in September, with yearly tuition of 178 EUR. Studying history in Corsica offers access to a rich regional past — including distinct cultural and political dynamics — that can complement broader historical training. Graduates often continue to master's programmes in history, heritage, archival science, or education, or pursue careers in teaching, public administration, journalism, and cultural institutions.
