Bachelor in Licence - Psychologie

Tuition comes to 178 EUR per year.

The Licence - Psychologie (Psychology) at the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in Reims, France, is a three-year bachelor-level degree in French, starting each September, with yearly tuition of 178 EUR. Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour, mental processes, emotion, and social interaction, drawing on both experimental and clinical traditions. At undergraduate level, students receive a broad grounding across the main sub-disciplines: cognitive psychology, developmental psychology across the lifespan, social psychology, clinical and health psychology, neuropsychology, and psychopathology. Equal weight is given to research methodology — experimental design, statistical analysis, and the ethical principles governing psychological research — so that students can critically evaluate empirical evidence and design their own studies. Students carry out supervised observation periods in clinical or educational settings as part of the degree, gaining early exposure to applied practice. In France, independent professional practice as a psychologue requires completion of a master's degree with a supervised clinical internship; the licence is therefore primarily a foundation for further study. Graduates who continue into master's programmes go on to work as clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, occupational psychologists, neuropsychologists, or researchers. Those who enter the workforce after the licence typically find roles in social services, education, human resources, and health-sector support. All teaching is in French.
