The Master di I livello in Management innovativo dei point of care testing (POCT) is supported by industry partners including NOVA BIOMEDICAL ITALIA Srl, Siemens Healthcare, and Quidel Italy. The programme focuses on preparing technicians and biologists to manage and train healthcare staff in point of care testing (POCT). It is designed specifically to meet the requirements of the Italian Ministry of Health, as outlined in the 2019 Circular and the 2018 Collective Labor Agreement for the Healthcare Sector. Participants will engage in 384 hours of lectures, laboratory work, and seminars, followed by a 100-hour internship. Modules cover management, economics, clinical pathology, technology, quality control, and governance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of POCT management.
