Master of Science in Polymer Technology

The MSc in Polymer Technology at Aalen University combines theoretical instruction with hands-on laboratory work in the science and technology of polymers. Core courses cover Polymer Physics and Rheology, Polymer Materials, Polymer Design and Mould Design, Polymer Processing, Polymer Testing, and Computer-Aided Engineering and Simulation. Students supplement these with elective courses to customise their area of focus. The programme runs over 3 semesters: two semesters of lectures and laboratory work followed by one semester dedicated to the Master's thesis. A practical training period may be undertaken within the scope of a sabbatical semester. Entry is possible in either the winter or summer semester.
