The Master's Degree in Gastronomic Sciences is an official degree from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, offered by the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences - Basque Culinary Center. It combines applied research with the development of innovative solutions in food, integrating social sciences, sustainability, food technology and anthropology to analyse the gastronomic system.

Students apply scientific methodologies and tools to investigate food trends, develop new products and design sustainable gastronomy strategies, working with academic institutions and industry partners on applied research projects. The programme is delivered entirely in English, so a minimum B2 level is mandatory (demonstrable via certificate, prior English-taught studies, or professional experience in English-speaking countries).

The programme runs 90 ECTS over two academic years on a campus-based model at the GOe Gastronomy Open Ecosystem, with a maximum of 24 students, and offers a pathway to the school's Doctorate in Gastronomic Sciences.
