Bachelor in Mathematics

Tuition fees are 18,400 USD per year.

This bachelor's program in Mathematics covers core areas of pure and applied mathematics, including algebra, analysis, calculus, differential equations, probability, and statistics. Students develop rigorous logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through proof-based coursework as well as applied mathematical methods used in science, engineering, and finance. The curriculum typically progresses from foundational calculus and linear algebra to more advanced topics such as real analysis, abstract algebra, and mathematical modeling. Graduates pursue careers in data analysis, finance, actuarial science, education, software development, and research, as well as further graduate study in mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative fields. The program spans 4 years and is taught in English, aligning with the language most commonly used in international mathematical research and publishing. It is offered at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, a city with several research-active universities engaged in mathematical sciences. The Ankara location gives students access to a broader academic community involved in mathematics and related quantitative disciplines. Over the four years, coursework generally builds from introductory calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics toward more specialized and abstract subjects, with increasing emphasis on rigorous proof and mathematical reasoning as students advance. The program is structured to give graduates a strong analytical foundation applicable across a wide range of technical, financial, and research-oriented career paths, as well as preparation for further study at the graduate level.
