Stepping into the advanced Cisco, IT security, and electronics labs at London Met, you will find that this four-year programme is designed to bridge the gap for students who possess a passion for mathematics but may lack the formal entry qualifications for a standard undergraduate degree. The course begins with a dedicated foundation year (Year 0) that serves as an academic springboard, balancing rigorous mathematical training with practical skills in programming, robotics, and cyber security.

This degree is fully accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), ensuring that your studies align with professional standards and contribute toward chartered status. By integrating theoretical depth with industry-relevant applications—supported by partnerships with giants like Microsoft and Oracle—the curriculum ensures you are not just learning abstract concepts, but are preparing for real-world problem-solving in sectors ranging from finance to technology.

Integrated Skill Development

• Preparation: Build confidence in core mathematics, logic, and computing before progressing to degree-level study.
• Industry Focus: Gain exposure to professional tools and environments that mirror modern workplace expectations.
• Flexibility: After the foundation year, you gain access to the same module choices as students on the standard three-year BSc, allowing you to tailor your path based on your emerging interests.
