Matematik

Mathematics covers the study of quantity, structure, space, and change through both pure and applied approaches. A typical curriculum includes algebra, calculus and analysis, geometry, probability and statistics, and discrete mathematics, with more advanced coursework in areas such as differential equations, linear algebra, and mathematical modeling. Students develop skills in abstract reasoning, proof construction, and quantitative problem-solving that apply across a wide range of technical and analytical fields. Graduates commonly pursue careers in data analysis, finance, actuarial work, software development, engineering support roles, teaching, and research, with many continuing into graduate study in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics. The analytical training gained through the degree is also valued in fields such as logistics, risk management, and scientific computing. This bachelor's program in Mathematics is offered by Galatasaray University in İstanbul, Turkey, and is taught in French over four years, in line with the university's Francophone curriculum. Students work through French-language coursework and textbooks while building the same core mathematical foundations found in mathematics programs internationally. The four-year structure generally moves from foundational calculus and algebra courses toward more specialized topics and independent project work in later years, giving graduates a solid grounding for both further study and technical careers that depend on strong quantitative skills.
