This bachelor's program in Mathematics is offered by İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University, a private university in Ankara, Turkey, and runs over a duration of 4 years, taught in English. Mathematics develops rigorous analytical and problem-solving skills through coursework in algebra, analysis, calculus, probability, statistics, and discrete mathematics, along with training in proof-based reasoning that underlies the discipline. Students build a foundation that supports applications in data science, finance, computer science, and engineering, often through elective coursework in areas such as numerical analysis, optimization, or mathematical modeling. Coursework typically progresses from foundational calculus and linear algebra sequences to more abstract topics such as real analysis and abstract algebra, supported by problem sets that emphasize independent reasoning. Many programs include an introduction to programming to support computational work. Graduates pursue careers in finance, data analysis, actuarial science, teaching, and software development, or continue into graduate study in mathematics or related quantitative fields. At İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University, students in this program follow the standard structure of a 4-year undergraduate degree, combining foundational coursework in the first years with more specialized study later in the program, and typically complete a capstone or graduation project before finishing the degree. Being based in Ankara gives students access to the city's academic institutions, industry, and professional networks alongside their coursework, which can support internships and early career connections in the local job market.
